Heading home: Peter Dut Angon
After watching the the Lost Boys of Sudan movie during class, I was interested to see where these boys would end up in the future. I came across this article about Peter, one of the Lost Boys. In the article Peter explains what happened in greater detail then what was mentioned on the movie. As of right now he says he is a level one nursing student. He also plans on visiting his family in May..whom he hasn't seen in nearly 18 years. After receiving all of his nursing training he plans on returning to Sudan to work in the health department. It is a pretty short, but interesting article to read. It was also interesting to see what Peter decided to do with his education that he has recieved the the United States.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/4185079.stm
