Introducing the College Geography Blog

We will be using the blog to record our daily activities and to share and comment on world issues. This is one method to extend our discussions and to link to new stuff that we have found that we may not have time to explore in class.

As a student in the class you will be expected to:

• serve as a daily recorder approximately twice per semester
• each quarter find four articles relating to a world issue, or four sources for information relating to our class, and link the source for class comment
• comment on daily records, articles or sources a minimum of twice per week
• ALL COMMENTS MUST BE APPROPRIATE AND RELEVANT TO THE COURSE. PROFANITY AND HARASSING MESSAGES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

This is a graded component of the course. Grades will be based on the length and quality of your posts (grammar, spelling, and content) and the number of weekly posts, two per week being a minimum for a C for the weekly blogging grade.
