I think this article is interesting because I had never considered the possiblity of making water privitized. There is a lot of involvement with water these days and I do believe any company that can make the money they do off of bottled water is pretty smart. As far as privitization goes, I do believe this wouldn't be a great idea. If water was a private business we may see the quality of services go down because the government wouldn't be putting as much pressure on the system as they are now and we may also see prices for services go up as well. I like having our system run under the governement because I know that it will continue to be well maintained and run smoothly. Through a government the system is in our hands while it's through the hands of a CEO when it's corporate run.
