A walk to remember

Today, Shimon Peres led 8,000 people on a two-mile walk from Auschwitz to Birkenau in commemoration of those who had perished in Birkenau and the Holocaust. Among the walkers was Shmuel Blumenfeld, a survivor from Auschwitz; the horrors of the Holocaust can never be taken away, but it is good to see the deeds we do these days to honor all of those who we have lost.
