Buddhism and Globalization
An interesting branch of a buddhist guidance site that deals with how globalization affects buddhists, how buddhists who effect globalization should be careful, and the representation of the concept pratitya-samutpada (the interdependence of both causes and people) through globalization. The essential message is that while globalization should be encouraged because it creates interdependence, it needs to be encouraged in a certain way, so as to avoid impovershing under developed countries and creating phobic nationalism.
