Amish mourn victims of school shootings

On Monday another school shooting occurred in an Amish community in Penn. Charles Carl Roberts IV entered the schoolhouse with the intention to kill. At the scene 10 girls were found shot and 5 which have died and the other 5 that are in critical condition. The gunmen committed suicide leaving behind a suicide note.
The families of the girls all are mourning along with the rest of the community. Staying close to their traditions the girls were laid to rest while the rest of the community visit their home. Each home will receive over 1,000 visitors to pay respects to the girls. The families say they are comforting Roberts family offering them forgiveness.
In the note left by Roberts he claims he was tormented with memories of molesting relavtives 20 years ago. The relatives do not recall Roberts claim and there is no evidence. He also appeared to be prepaired to molest the girls in the school.
The way the Amish community handles this situation shows the differences in cultures. They work on forgiving Roberts while our community would work on charging him for the crime.
