My Christmas List for 2006

Alright kiddos, only twenty shopping days until Christmahanakwanzaka 2006, so I'm giving you all my Christmas list early. Here are some things I would enjoy from everyone on Our World:
I would like....
  • To be able to read a blog concerning political matters that is devoid of tasteless, frivilous, ridiculous, factless assumptions. If I read one more post that just blatantly isn't true or tries to be true but fails valiantly, I'm going to consider it a big lump of coal in my stocking.
  • To actually understand why some people think that their posts have anything to do with this class. "Chilean boy born with fetus in his stomach" is not a title for Our World, it's a title for the National Enquirer.
  • To be able to carry on a meaningful conversation in class for more than three minutes, and get more than four people involved. I can honestly say that I know most everyone has an opinion on the war, poverty, terrorism, or even if European men are better looking than American men. (Are you listening PudgyPoof?) So why don't we try to just open up a little-no body is going to laugh at you....well, they might.
Well, I've probably alienated a lot of people with this, so I'll just end on a good note.
MERRY CHRISTMAS (yeah, that's right...I said Christmas!) ***gasp***

x__X you said Christmas!!! oh no! haha...Merry Christmas to you too ^__^ I don't celebrate it, but I like this time of the year, woot!

Anyway, concerning the rest of your post, you are right. I've been hoping to get people involved, but they just don't! It's okay to share your opinions....actually, come to think of it, it's a good thing! ^_______^

big.t.35, calm down. I understand what you are talking about, John Stamos might have sounded a little frustrated in his blogs, but I believe he did the right thing by posting this. He/She is only telling people, that if they try, they can have a discussion. He/She isn't insulting anyone, only encouraging people to use their knowledge. IMO, that isn't a bad thing.....You are right though, he/she could be a little bit nicer about it, but there is no reason to get so upset.
